Mission
My purpose as an intuitive is to bring together spirituality and mental wellness: to teach how spiritual practices can give immense support in coping with (and even improving) symptoms of mental illness.
How can spiritual practices help me:
- Come down from a panic attack?
- Get grounded during a thought spiral?
- Feel optimistic when my brain wants to focus on only the worst?
- Trust that I'm loved when my illness tells me I'm unlovable?
- Have a purpose in life when I feel lost and purposeless?
Living with bipolar II and generalized anxiety, I've discovered the absolute wealth of self-care and mental health-supporting practices in the spiritual community. Utilizing spiritual practices for coping with (and even embracing) mental illness is actually so effective, it's pretty wild. My meds are great, but they can only do so much-- they deal with the chemicals, I deal with the thoughts and headspace. The essence of spirituality, and of any faith or any religion, is to connect to a beautiful network of compassion and love, and spread it around. In order to do that, we practice quiet time where we connect. These practices of meditation, affirmations, breathwork, mantra, and more, ground us so we are much more competent dealing with the often antithetical symptoms of mental illness. Sometimes you have to pull your head back down from that "Anxiety Outer Space" and smush into back onto your body with some spiritual grounding practices to feel like a rational, empowered human again. It's worked so well for me, that I truly believe it can for you. If you're looking for a good sit down with someone who can help you use spirituality to empower you to feel better and find direction, I'm here for you. Through talking things out, channeling guidance, reading cards, or whatever feels right for you in that moment to get what you need, I'm here to help you connect to the wonderful, guiding love of the Universe so you can feel happy and free, regardless of your brain chemistry.
Spirituality
I am a lifelong intuitive with a passion for counseling, reading, and healing. I grew up in various Christian faiths mixed with spiritual practices, so I have personal experience/appreciation for organized religion and individual spirituality alike.
Connecting to the infinite love of the Universe and spreading compassion unite all faiths and belief systems. I am here to help you connect, love, and live your joy as the Universe cheers you on.
In recent years, I have been working with my higher self and spirit guides to help others through mental illness, relationship struggles, big life decisions, and personal challenges. I truly believe that our ancestors, angels, and other souls love to aid us humans in our complex and confusing lives by reaching out with their guidance and support. I’m here to act as a liaison to people who want to know what their spiritual support team has to say about their life! My work is definitely unconventional, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Education
I graduated from Colby College in 2018, with a double major in English and Theatre & Dance, and a minor in Religious Studies. As a TD and English double major, I spent my time cultivating my communication and interpersonal skills. I took two courses on directing, which focused on developing collaborative, exciting, and dynamic theatre, while nurturing a safe and supportive creative environment. I learned to foster comfortable spaces that promote and inspire new work. I believe inclusivity and acceptance are essential to learning, creating, and growing as humans, and I hold those values above all else. Similarly, my Religious Studies minor helped me expand my awareness of how all kinds of individuals connect to the divine and follow the path of kindness and compassion that is at the heart of every spiritual practice.
I am so excited to meet you, and help you connect with the infinite love and guidance of the Universe.
